Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Said Martinez Calderon, a sole proprietor doing business as Martinez Calderon Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with fricking.website and the Fricking Local Business Insights plugin (“Plugin”).
1. Information We Collect
- When you purchase a license or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- License key and activation records
- Support correspondence
We do not collect payment information directly. All payment processing is handled by Paddle, who has their own privacy policy at paddle.com.
2. Information the Plugin Collects
The plugin runs on your WordPress installation and stores data in your own database. This data may include:
- Google Business Profile scan results for businesses you search
- Email addresses and contact details submitted by visitors to your site through the optional lead capture form
- AI-generated report content
This data never passes through our servers.
We have no access to it. You, as the plugin operator, are the data controller for any personal data collected through the plugin, and you are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or others relevant to your jurisdiction).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Fulfill your license purchase and manage your account
- Communicate with you about your license or support requests
- Improve the plugin and our services
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services that may process your information:
- Paddle: payment processing and license key delivery (paddle.com/privacy)
- Anthropic Claude API: AI-powered report generation (used on your server with your API key)
- Google Places API: business data retrieval (used on your server with your API key)
When you use the plugin with your own API keys, your queries go directly from your server to Google and Anthropic. We do not intermediate or log those requests.
5. Data Retention
We retain your purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal purposes.
All data stored by the plugin on your server is permanently deleted when you uninstall the plugin or use the plugin’s built-in data deletion function. We cannot recover this data once deleted.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited personal information we hold.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The plugin and site are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date and notify you of material changes where practical. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
